Cookies

Some of the website pages make use of so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve the purpose of making our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.
You can set your browser up so that you are notified about any cookies which are set, and can allow the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or exclude them in general, or activate a function to automatically delete them when you close the browser. The functionality of this website may be limited if cookies are deactivated.

Cookies which are necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing the specific functions you desire (e.g. the shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Article 6 Section 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the provision of services which is technically error-free and optimised. Inasmuch as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this Privacy Policy.

Server log files

The provider of the website pages automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information consists of:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server enquiry
  • IP address

There shall be no allocation of this data to other data sources.

The basis for the data processing is Article 6 Section 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or precontractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the contact form, including the contact data entered there by you, are stored at our site for the purpose of enquiry processing and in case subsequent questions arise. We shall not pass this data on without your consent.

The processing of the data provided in the contact form is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6 Section 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. A simple message sent to us by email is sufficient. The legality of the data processing measures taken up to the point in time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form remains with us until you request that we delete it, you revoke your consent to its storage or the reason for the data’s storage no longer applies (e.g. after the processing of your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – especially storage periods – remain unaffected.

5. Plug-ins and tools

Google Fonts

In order to ensure the consistent display of typefaces, this website uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google. When a website page is accessed, your browser loads the necessary web fonts to your browser cache to make sure that texts and fonts are displayed properly.

For this purpose, the browser you use needs to connect to servers which belong to Google. As a result, Google receives the information that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is in the interest of providing a consistent and appealing representation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest in the context of Article 6 Section 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer is used.

For more information regarding Google Fonts, please refer to https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
